Electric propulsion systems are your sustainable alternative to compustion systems.
Environment protection
Until now, boating was a contradiction. You take the boat out to sea to enjoy the wide view and nature. At the same time, every trip harms the nature a little bit: Exhaust fumes, oil pollution or the noise that disturbs marine life. The list of environmental impacts is long. While for decades there was hardly any alternative to conventional combustion engines, the development of alternative drives is now advancing rapidly in the boating industry. Especially with regard to climate change, this development is more important than ever before.
Less noise and odor
Electric propulsion systems cause no emissions - neither carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nor nitrogen. With an electric drive, you enjoy the sound of the water and the tranquility of nature. Loud engine noises or the smell of diesel are a thing of the past. Best of all: As an e-boat owner, you protect the environment and experience driving fun at the same time!
Regenerative energy
Boats with electric propulsion systems have a large energy storage. It is charged continuously from the solar panels on the roof and supplies the electrical consumers, such as the refrigerator with electrical energy. This allows you to sail completely self-sufficient with renewable energy sources.
Less maintenance
The electric drive system requires less maintenance and thus lower operating costs due to the robust and reliable electric motor. The reasons for this are less wear and tear. Recurring services such as oil changes are also no longer required.
More freedom
In many protected areas and cities, such as in the fjords of Norway or, from 2025, in the canals of Amsterdam, it is no longer permitted to drive with combustion engines. It is expected that these protected areas will be continuously expanded. Electric boats are excluded from these restrictions.
