55 ft full electric catamaran

The first catamaran powered by Omega Grey is complete!

The 55 ft full electric catamaran was given into the hands of its new owner. It offers efficiency, performance, luxury and sustainability.

The catamaran was realized with the Omega Grey System and components from our partners. While the 100kW electric motors deliver the efficient and silent power at any time, the 10 kW solar power from the integrated panels on the roof add to the charging capability of the efficient lithium-Ion battery and enable self-sufficient driving.

To always ensure sufficient range and freedom, an additional generator (range extender) can be switched on to recharge the batteries. To always guarantee the highest safety, the HV lithium-ion battery is automotive tested, has a long service life and meets the highest safety and quality standards due to its sealed plug connections and a waterproof housing. The battery is liquid-cooled and can handle even very large power demands without any problems. Integrated in the battery is a Battery Management System (BMS), which constantly monitors the battery status and protects the battery from excessive temperature or discharge.

Thus the built-in OG components provide connectivity, remote maintenance and security and is making the driving experience quieter, odorless, comfortable and smartly connected.
